The U.S.-Mexico Chamber of Commerce (USMCOC) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization that works with both Mexican and American companies to facilitate bilateral trade and investment. The USMCOC's Business Development Center seeks to fulfill these goals by providing:

• Bilingual electronic and print resources to give members up-to-date intelligence on the U.S.-Mexico market;
   

• Research services and capabilities for members and the general public, including lists of suppliers, manufacturers and corporate background;
   

• Concurrent representation in Mexico and the United States, where it is able to help overcome regulatory, cultural, language and other barriers to business operations.

The Business Development Center accesses information both through the public domain and through original reports in order to supply clients with needed business information. As a non-governmental organization, we do depend on outside funding to ensure the continuation of these services.

We will gladly fill basic research requests for free though we do ask a for a minimum donation of US$50. However, for requests which we estimate will exceed 1 hour, and therefore require greater research time and staff resources, we charge an hourly fee of US$75. The collected funds will aid the Chamber's mission of promoting US-Mexico business relations.

The fees of the research services that the USMCOC provides are the following:

Non Members: For those requests which we estimate will exceed 1 hour, an hourly fee of $75 to provide information about Mexico and the U.S.. We will send you an e-mail with an estimate before we proceed with your research.

Members: Initial research for basic information is provided at no cost. Additionally, included with membership is:

• Associate & Individual Levels: 2 hours of research per year

• Corporate Level: 5 hours of research per year

• Regional level: 10 hours of research per year.

• Bi-National level: 20 hours of research per year.

After the initial research included in membership, additional time will be billed at US$100 per hour.
