The United States-Mexico Chamber of Commerce (USMCOC) will be hosting its annual Conference and "Good Neighbor Awards" Gala from April 24-25, 2012 in Washington, DC.
This year's Conference entitled "U.S.-Mexico 2012: A Presidental Election Year," assures to continue the Chamber's reputation for providing our members with topical, in-depth reviews of issues affecting U.S.-Mexico business growth and development including:
- U.S.- Mexico Economic/Financial Outlook
- Manufacturing and Technology
- Mexico's Public-Private Associations Law: Private-sector
participation in infraestructure and transportation.

The Gala will continue the Chamber's long standing tradition of honoring individuals in the private and public sectors that have made outstanding contributions to U.S.-Mexico relations.
The 2012 Good Neighbor Awardees include: Dionisio Pérez-Jácome, Mexico's Secretary of Communications and Transportation and Ray LaHood, U.S. Secretary of Transportation; and from the private sector José Antonio Fernández, Chairman, FEMSA-Coca Cola, and Jim Young, Chairman and CEO, Union Pacific Corporation.A Special Recognition will be given to Alfredo Gutierrez, Director, Mexico’s Tax Administration Service and Alan Bersin, Assistant Secretary for International Affairs, Department of Homeland Security and Former U.S. Commissioner for Customs and Border Protection.
