For more than five years, Eugenio Sevilla-Sacasa has been an active member of the United States-Mexico Chamber of Commerce/Inter-American Chapter Board of Directors, established in Miami, Florida. He is also a member of the USMCOC Binational Board and has been prominent while offering a variety of seminars about binational trade issues between Mexico and the United States. He has participated as a speaker in many regional and binational lectures, and he has also contributed to increase both the Chapter's regional membership and the diferent benefits that this Chapter offers.

With 22 years of extensive experience in business, Mr. Sevilla-Sacasa has worked in different high-level positions in very important firms, such as: E.I. du Pont de Nemours & Co., and Sovipe Ingenieros; and he has also been an expert advisor in commerce issues for Latin America.

Currently, he is the Vice Chairman and General Director of Ryder - Latin America of Ryder System, Inc., a leading transportation and supply chain management solutions company. Mr. Sevilla-Sacasa serves this position from his previous as Vice President, Managing Director of Ryder Mexico. In this expanded position, Mr. Sevilla-Sacasa will be responsible for all operations, sales and support functions in Latin America including Mexico, as well as cross-border operations between the United States and Mexico. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Sevilla-Sacasa oversaw Ryder's operations in Mexico, which have grown to include more than 1,000 employees in more than 20 locations throughout Mexico over the last five years.

Mr. Sevilla-Sacasa holds a master of business administration in Finance from The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor of science degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey in Monterrey, Mexico. He is the Chairman of the Board of the Ryder Federal Credit Union, a member of the Society of International Business Fellows, and is the new President of the USMCOC Inter-American Chapter.

Eugenio Sevilla Sacasa, por más de cinco años ha sido un miembro activo de la junta directiva del Capítulo Interamericano de la Cámara de Comercio Estados Unidos-México, con sede en la ciudad de Miami, en el Estado de la Florida. Como miembro de la Junta Directiva de la USMCOC, se ha destacado, ofreciendo diversos seminarios sobre temas comerciales bilaterales entre México y los Estados Unidos, ha participado como destacado panelista en conferencias regionales y binacionales y ha contribuido a aumentar la membresía regional asi como los beneficios prestados a la misma.

Con una trayectoria de más de 22 años y una amplia experiencia en el ramo empresarial, Sevilla-Sacasa ha ocupado puestos directivos de importantes firmas como E.I. du Pont de Nemours & Co., Inc., Sovipe Ingenieros y ha sido asesor experto en materia de Comercio para América Latina.

Actualmente se desempeña como Vicepresidente y Director General de Ryder Latina América, compañía líder en su ramo dedicada a ofrecer servicios de transporte y de soluciones para cadenas de abastecimiento en general. Al ingresar a Ryder fungió como Analista Financiero, siendo promovido en 1985 como Consultor Financiero. Además de los cargos ya mencionados, fue también, dentro de esta misma firma y antes de ocupar el cargo actual, Director General de Finanzas, Director de Planificación Financiera, Director de Planeación y Desarrollo. En su período como Vicepresidente y Director General de Ryder México estuvo a cargo de todas las operaciones, funciones de ventas y apoyo en Latina América incluyendo México, así como las operaciones fronterizas entre los Estados Unidos y México.

Cuenta con una maestría en Finanzas del Wharton School of Business de la Universidad de Pennsylvania. Es ingeniero Industrial y Sistemas por el Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey en Monterrey, México. Es Presidente de la Mesa Directiva de la Unión de Crédito Federal de Ryder y miembro de la Sociedad de Socios Internacionales de Negocio.

Actualmente ha sido electo Presidente del Capítulo Interamericano de la Cámara de Comercio Estados Unidos-México.
